Whilst our prototype fund is primarily about improving working capital for games developers we are also very much in the talent development business. We see the graduate placements from the talent pool that we facilitate as a valuable contribution to real world learning. A new publication was launched last night “Creativity Money Love – Learning for the 21st Century” containing a collection of short essays called “thinkpieces” from authors that share common interests and wide ranging views on how best to achieve those interests.

Ian Livingstone’s piece and my own are pretty much the sole ones with direct links to games development but there are many other pieces with relevance to those interested in how we create the talent of the future in order to build the digital prototypes (and full products) of the future to achieve the sweet spot described in the publication where you learn creativity, trade skills for money and love what you do.
